With its double peak, multifaceted profiles and plethora of habitats Mount Diablo proves to be an ever-changing muse for many local artists.

Artists from Plein Air painters to Quilters and Photographers generously donate their work to help support Save Mount Diablo's land preservation programs and ensure that Mount Diablo and its foothills continue to inspire generations to come.

John Finger, a Painter of the Plein Air tradition and supporter of Save Mount Diablo pictured above, set up his easel at SMD's Moonlight on the Mountain, and painted the looming peaks as the sunset played colors across its landscape.
