Save Mount Diablo will host its twelfth annual “Moonlight on the Mountain” on Saturday, September 8, 2012. This special, one-of-a-kind event for 500 guests includes drinks and hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auction, elegant sit-down dinner, live music and presentation of the Mountain Star Awards.

“Moonlight on the Mountain” takes place outdoors on a flat plateau next to the dramatic rock formations of China Wall, with a spectacular view of undeveloped rolling hills and the summit of Mount Diablo—all under the light of the rising moon.

Date, Time and Place
Moonlight on the Mountain will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at China Wall in Mount Diablo State Park.

Catering
The elegant sit-down dinner is catered by Sunrise Bistro & Catering. This year's meal selections include:

- Filet Mignon with Pasilla Pepper and Creamy Walnut Sauce, Garnished with Fresh Pomegranate Seeds, Accompanied with Edamame Salad, and Bulgur Wheat Pilaf with Raisins and Chopped Seasonal Vegetables

- Grilled Salmon with Papaya Salsa, Bulgur Wheat Pilaf with Raisins and Chopped Seasonal Vegetables

- Mild Pasilla Pepper Stuffed with Jack & Cream Cheese & Sweet Corn with Fresh Summer Tomato Sauce and Fresh Thyme
